About

Mission: to be a premier maker of simple, fast, and stunning interactive solutions while maintaining a commitment to our values.
Fed up with big-agency bloat, Troy Hollar left it behind in 2002 to found MetaFoundry as a one-client, two-person web studio in a tiny former butcher shop in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

Today, our main office—above a bank in the same neighborhood—is a little bigger, and a few of our team of eleven work in remote offices around the country. MetaFoundry is still a small, Brooklyn-based interactive firm that provides real-world interactive solutions to its clients in the public and private sectors.

Our client engagements run a gamut from fixed-scope projects to ongoing strategic and managed services relationships.

And that first client, Bristol-Myers Squibb, is still with us.

We work in small teams, and we don't employ salespeople or account executives. So if we pitch to you, you'll be looking at the team who will do the work. And if we're fortunate enough to win your business, you'll get firsthand service from the team producing your work.

But enough about that. Who are we, really?

Well, meet our team, learn about our philanthropic and New Ventures programs, or read our company blog to get a better picture.
