He is also the Director of Development and a head film programmer of the Vail Film Festival, which he has helped build since its inception. Mike began his media career with four years in book publishing editorial before becoming a content producer for a leading teen communications website. He was a freelance music journalist for NME.com, Britain's leading music news site, and is still a contributing editor to an online literary magazine. He is working on a novel and travels abroad extensively.
